Another game ball for Joshua! He got his first hit off of a pitch, then he followed it up with another hit from a pitched ball. That was two hits not off of a tee! Way to go Josh. Clearly very proud of his feat. His coach's goal for the season was have Josh get a hit off of a pitch and he did it.
Layne had her soccer game on Friday and all the girls were a bit rusty after the long break, but Layne put together three nice moves and scored the only goal of the game. After the goal she slowly walked back to mid field with her arms at her side. All the parents wanted to know why she wasn't excited, was she excited after the game when we got home? I wasn't sure why she didn't get excited, probably shy about cheering in front of everyone. That makes a goal in each game this season, great job Layne.
I will be taking Jacob to see the "Hunger Games" tomorrow with his friend Connor. Jacob has been on us for weeks to see the movie. He read the book and Jennifer and I didn't think the movie was too adult themed for him, so we are off to see it.
